Very good and conveniently located. Local Clinto has great jokes so if you see him ask him to tell you a joke.

My husband and I both got the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans. 1st time we both tried chicken fried steak and it was delicious. Definitely would come back. This place is open every day both closed everyday at 2pm then reopens at 5pm. We arrived at about 1pm. The cashier wasn't really friendly and kinda tried rushing me.

I highly recommend going and eating. Very respectful people and even know sometimes they can't open cuz they are short handed they always is very respectful and always let's us know so we know what is going on and it's always nice when they can open cuz they always have a smile on their faces no matter how tired they are they do what they can. We can't ask for anything better then how respectful everyone is here I highly recommend everyone to go when they can they have great service great food and everyone there is very respectful and they are family owned

Ordered the shrimp taco, cheeseburger, and nachos. Little mix up with the order at 1st not being able to hear each other due to fan going to keep the customers cool...nice touch by the way...but we got it figured out and it was GREAT!!! Shrimp taco had just the right amount of sauce and crunch, burger has that homemade, hand smashed taste as it should and the nachos were flavorful with the right consistency cheese. Not too thick but just right. I'd say...GET UP AND GET OUT THERE!!! 7868 State Hwy 71, Garwood, TX 77442 I see no reason not to give them the big 5
